I have been trying to figure out how to start this post for a while now (this little lady was born in August already!)
I keep wanting to examine life’s defining moments. There have been many of these in my life, both beautiful and sad.
The moment I found out I was pregnant with all three of my children, the day we lost one of them, the day I married my best friend and the day we bought our first house, the day my dad passed away and the day I gave birth to our daughter <3
Each of these were touched by the grace and peace of God and have a profound affect on how I live my life.

I had the privilege of capturing a defining moment for this family and I dare say it was one for me as well.
God was present in this room and it was evident by the strength this mom and dad displayed.
Not only did they invite me, an acquaintance at this point, into such an intimate moment but they didn’t hide who they
were for the camera. Their love and bond as a husband and wife, soon to be parents of 4 was abundantly evident.

I left this experience feeling empowered as a women, mom, wife and Christian.
What I witnessed in that room was surely a miracle and I will take it with me for the rest of my life.

A huge THANK YOU to this gracious family for having me be a part of this little lady’s birthday.
